1. The Origin & Heritage of Multiplayer Hierarchy
Originating in Japan as Daifugo ('Grand Millionaire') and played across Western universities as President, Scum, or Rich Man Poor Man, Hierarchy is the ultimate card game of shifting social fortunes and revenge. 4 players race to shed their cards. The first player to empty their hand becomes the President (King), while the last player becomes the Beggar (Scum). In subsequent rounds, the President taxes the Beggar's best cards in exchange for junk cards! But with clever Revolution card plays and 8-Stop cleanses, the lower class can overturn the hierarchy and take the throne. CITAGAH brings Hierarchy to life with smooth card animations, living room TV party mode, and instant 3-second online matchmaking.
Originated as a student card game exploring dynamic card taxation and revolution reversals.
Adopted worldwide as the premier 4-player social card game of hilarious class warfare.

4. Official Multiplayer Hierarchy Rules & Tactics
Lead Cards
The starting player plays a single card or matching set (pairs, triples).
Beat the Combination
Other players must play the same number of cards with a higher rank, or pass.
Clear Pile
When all players pass, the high player clears the trick and leads the next round.
Special Power-Up Tiles:
Temporarily allows triggering a 4-card Revolution with only 3 cards of the same rank.
Allows the Beggar to protect their single highest card from presidential taxation.
Instantly clears the discard pile and returns play control directly to you.
Spawns golden royal fireworks upon defending your President title for 3 consecutive rounds.
Pro Strategy Tips:
Singles are easy to shed; save powerful pairs and triples to clear multi-card leads from opponents.
Having the highest card (a 2 or Joker) guarantees you can take control of the table and lead your remaining low cards.
If you hold four 3s or four 4s, trigger a Revolution to make your lowest cards the most powerful on the table!
